Planning is underway for Ankeny’s 2014 After Prom!
We need the help and monetary support of the Junior and Senior Parents.

After Prom is in search of Junior Parent Chairs from both High Schools to step into the Chair positions for the 2015 After Prom. There will be two Prom Dances and After Proms next year.
- 1/25 Centennial Northern Lights Winter Dance – Decorate and Clean up.
- 1/31 & 2/7 Middle School 6th & 7th Grade Socials.
- 1/27 – 2/10 Pampered Chef Sales.
- Donation Jugs located at businesses throughout Ankeny.
Meetings are held at the AHS/South High School in the Career Center (located at the top of the stairs from the west/main entrance by the office). Meetings are on Mondays from 7-8pm.

After Prom Party
Following the Dance from Midnight to 5:30am at Ankeny High School
All Ankeny Juniors and Seniors, and their guests, are welcome whether or not they attend the Prom Dance. All Guests must complete and return an After Prom Guest Request Form. This form must be returned to either High School office by 4:00 on Wednesday, April 23
Both the PROM DANCE AND AFTER PROM has Guest Request Forms. There are two different forms. Both forms are required if attending both the Dance and After Prom. Download the After Prom form here.
Please send a small baby picture and wallet-size senior picture for the traditional “Senior Wall” displayed at After Prom. Please make the student’s name on the back of both pictures. The committee will not return the pictures, but the student is welcome to take theirs from the wall before leaving After Prom.
Last year, over 950 students were treated to a SAFE, fun-filled evening. After Prom does not happen on its own. It takes the support of the parents and the community. We ask parents of all junior and seniors for $25 to defray costs of this worthwhile event.
Please return your $25 (and picture, if a senior) by mail to Ankeny After Prom, PO Box 1181, Ankeny, IA 50021 or bring to either High School office. Be sure to include your student’s name, grade, and school on the check. Money and pictures will be accepted April 23, 2014 but your prompt attention is greatly appreciated.
